Common questions
What counts as a question?
Each AI-generated practice question uses one credit or one of your monthly allowance. Past paper questions added by your teacher are free — credits only apply to AI generation.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you purchase in a pack never expire and roll over indefinitely. Your monthly subscription allowance resets each billing cycle, but credit packs are permanent.
Why are credit packs more expensive per question than a subscription?
Credit packs are for occasional top-ups and exam-period bursts. For regular practice, Scholar at $0.06/question is a significantly better deal. The pricing is intentional — to make the subscription the obvious choice for students who practise consistently.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Annual billing saves you approximately 25% (equivalent to 3 months free). Email us at hello@expandable.education after signing up and we'll switch your account to annual billing with the discounted rate.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period and won't be charged again.
